Fall Fun

October has come and gone. Here is a bit about what we did last month.
Gramma had a great idea to take the little two boys to the Tree Adventure at Arbor Day Farms in Nebraska City one beautiful day. They had not been there before and had a great time! We had such a fun time watching them explore and learn.

Grayson loved this little wheelbarrow. He pushed Declan around for a while then spent a long time loading and unloading blocks.

This little trip to the Tree Adventure reminded me of the one we did a long time ago when the big guys were little. They all look so little in these pictures and having as much fun then as we did.

Both days then and now were one of the most fun times with my boys and cousins. Two perfect fall days. After the Tree Adventure we enjoyed a little lunch and a piece of pie at the cafe then headed out to Union Orchard to get delicious apple donuts. We do not go to Nebraska City every year now, it has changed so much. It is good to visit every few years or so now.

We have found a new fun pumpkin patch place and fall adventure to enjoy. It is Camp Fontenelle near Nickerson Nebraska. This is a much different place than Nebraska City. It is a farm that offers many fun fall activities. This is our second year going and look forward to next year too.
There is a huge corn maze that again the boys spent over two hours in finding their way around and the spots to get punches on their cards that they can trade in for a prize. Liam took off with Brendan and Laura I never caught up to them again. I found Tristan starting his search for the stamps.

Grayson took a moment to enjoy a sucker one of the people hiding in and around the maze,

Grayson was leading Daddy in and out of the maze.

The next thing was called the "big pillow" which is a huge inflated "pillow" you can jump on. A little like a poof trampoline. The boys big and small spent over an hour jumping. It was really fun!

Worn out and ready to go.

After the jumping pillow they all went to the laser tag corn maze. Another fun hour. Grayson was able to play this year and was very proud of himself. (no pictures I did not go to that part)

After all the jumping and corn maze hunting and corn maze laser tag we stopped for a caramel apple snack. A perfect snack for the beautiful day.
The best was waiting for the three big boys to end our fun day. Tristan, Colin and Liam got to ride the zip line again this year and had a blast!

Halloween 2015

Most years the boys have a plan for Halloween for months. This year however, no one had an idea what they wanted to be until the week of Halloween. On the Tuesday before Halloween we gathered all the pieces of costumes from years past and everyone came out with a great plan! Best part we did not have to go get anything last minute from a store.

Colin as Obe wan Kenobi

Liam as Luke Skywalker

Daddy was a storm trooper. (he has a very nice friend who let him borrow this awesome costume)

Halloween on a Saturday is usually a little crazy with all the waiting until trick-or-treat time. This year somehow the day seemed to go very fast. We started the day with a nice breakfast,  made a birthday cake for Daddy, cut our jack-o-lanterns and added the "spider web" to the front of the house. (this took the three big boys an hour to do) There was also a little basketball playing and errand running. The day started out gloomy and a bit cold luckily by 4:00 it got nice and warm out. We actually sat on the front porch to hand out candy this year it was so nice. The boys had a great day and night!

Carving is serious business.

The night ended with the traditional Broncos dinner and celebrating Daddy's birthday.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!
